Daily Maintenance Tips to Prevent Hard Pedal Issues
Preventing brake pedal stiffness is far easier than fixing it. Based on feedback from our partners in Japan, Korea, and the Middle East, here’s what actually works in real-world conditions.
1. Flush Brake Fluid Regularly
Old fluid attracts moisture, leading to internal corrosion. We recommend flushing every 12–18 months, especially if you run Pink Brake Line or Silver Brake Line in humid climates.
2. Inspect Hose Ends During Tire Changes
Look for seepage, rust, or cracked sleeves. Many issues start at the fitting, not the hose body.
3. Avoid Pressure Washers on Fittings
High-pressure water accelerates corrosion under stainless sheathing. This is critical for Blue Brake Line and Green Brake Line installations.
4. Use Correct Torque on Banjo Bolts
Over-tightening distorts the sealing washer; under-tightening causes leaks. Either mistake can mimic a “hard pedal” symptom.
5. Replace Hoses in Pairs
Uneven hose condition leads to unbalanced braking. Always replace left and right simultaneously.

FAQ
Are colored brake lines safe?
Yes—the color is a UV-stable outer coating over a certified hydraulic hose.
Do you support OEM drawings?
Absolutely. Send us your drawing or sample.
Can I mix rubber and braided lines?
Not recommended. Consistency improves pedal feel and safety.
